I am a Provostial Fellow at Stanford University in the Department of Management Science and Engineering, affiliated with the Center for Work, Technology, and Organizations and the Stanford Technology Ventures Program. My research examines how institutional environments, including policy design, program structure, and organizational incentives, shape entrepreneurial entry and innovative activity in high-technology industries.

Before returning to academia, I spent several years in financial services and digital media, experiences that continue to shape how I think about markets, innovation, and the entrepreneurs I study. Outside of research and teaching, I enjoy visiting museums, discovering new music, and finding a great book I cannot put down.
